About Uppsteyt
Uppsteyt means “riot” or “rebellion” in Icelandic. The name refers to the rebellion against classic ideas of jewelry design and traditions. Uppsteyt has a broad and diverse product line where each piece has its own unique identity, allowing strong, independent individuals to create their own style. Even though the name refers to rebellion and chaos, much effort is put into the design of every little detail of each piece with the aim of delivering top quality.
Despite being a relatively young brand, Uppsteyt has already established a strong market position in Iceland. A major part of this success can be attributed to the experience and expertise of Uppsteyt’s design team.

MATERIALS
The Uppsteyt jewelry collection is hand made in rhodium plated sterling silver. Rhodium is a very valuable metal and is the coat used for all white gold jewelry. By rhodium plating sterling silver the jewelry get the same color and effect as a white gold collection.
